  22. Underlining is easy to do; it is simply a matter of telling the AES that
  23. certain objects in your dialog box are user-defined.  Then when the AES
  24. calls your function to draw the object, you draw the little underline
  25. and away you go.  It will be drawn at the same time as the rest of the
  26. dialog box.  ST-Zip has a lot of redraw problems; using it as the basis
  27. for a discussion about redraws is not the greatest idea.

  38. I agree.  This is not only non-standard, but confusing.  Nobody would
  39. be able to figure this out just by looking at the menu bar.  Users
  40. would have to read the documentation (and not many do that).

  44. We should follow the german standard in this case, I think.  Most
  45. current programs (not all, but most) are being developed in Germany.
  46. By forcing the use of the non-german keypresses for close window
  47. and cycle window, we are only increasing the gap between our
  48. programs and german programs.  (Not to mention that this is a case
  49. of a dangerous option being selected by accident; cycle windows is
  50. harmless but closing a window by accident (even if the program stops
  51. to ask for confirmation) is really annoying.
